Tesla self drive tours
We in Iceland are fortunate enough to have an abundance of water that we use to generate electricity. A 100% renewable energy sources. This is why we founded Iceland´s first Tesla only car rental. Our self-drive team will help you plan and book a personalized itinerary for your dream vacation. Every itinerary will include at least one night stay in our 5 Million Star Hotel.
Please note: We only run the self-drive tours between 1st of May and the 1st of December due to harsh winter season. When you want to experience Iceland in winter mode then consider our Private tours and Scheduled Tours as they are done on proper SUV with experienced local driver guides.
What makes our self drive itineraries so special?
1 – No worrying about crazy high gasoline prices
We are participate in an industry-wide shift to sustainable transportation. You will only be using energy from 100% renewable energy sources that we have in abundance here in Iceland. Tesla is leading the race for emission free future and you dont need to pay for expensive gasoline. The use of electricity is all included in the package price you get. No worrying about crazy high gasoline prices.
2 – The river charges while you sleep
We have abundance of water in Iceland, so you will only be charging with 100% renewable energy sources and that most of the time while you are at sleep. At our main self drive location in South Iceland we have 2x charging stations and you just plug in before you go to your bubble. It will then be fully charged the morning after. We then partner with other hotels having destination chargers from Tesla. Else you can use the supercharger network covering Iceland or other charging networks. All included in the price.
3 – Personalized Step by Step guide
Our team of planners will create for you a personalized Step by Step guide with handpicked partners. Once you are happy with it, we will do the rest – book the Tesla car, the additional accommodation and activities. Including of course at least one night in our 5 Million Star Hotel at our South Coast Location.
