The bubble rests in a forest on calm farmland close to Selfoss — a place built for stillness. Some nights the loudest thing you'll hear is rain tracing its way down the dome above you.

Ölvisholt sits in the countryside close to the town of Selfoss. Spend the day out on the coast, eat well in the villages nearby — then come home to the forest for the night.
From Reykjavík it's just over an hour's drive east on Route 1 through Selfoss. Detailed driving directions follow when you book.

The bubble
Up to 2 guests in a 180 cm double bed. A service house with two toilets and showers sits 30–50 metres from each bubble. No food or drink is sold on site — the villages of Selfoss, Eyrarbakki, Stokkseyri and Hveragerði are your nearest options.
Check-in & out
No formal reception — a host meets you. Check-in 17:00–20:00, check-out before 10:00.
Children
Under 6 can share the bed with parents; over 6 need a second bubble.
