Stop 1 - Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon

Witness the breathtaking beauty of giant icebergs calved from the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier as they float serenely in the deep blue waters of Iceland’s most famous glacial lagoon. This dynamic landscape is constantly changing as ice chunks drift towards the Atlantic Ocean, creating a surreal and unforgettable natural spectacle.

Stop 2 - Hvannadalshnjúkur

Hvannadalshnjúkur is the highest peak in Iceland, situated on the northwestern rim of the Öræfajökull volcano’s summit crater. This glaciated peak towers over the surrounding landscape within Vatnajökull National Park, offering breathtaking views of the vast glacier system.

Stop 3 - Skaftafellsjökull Glacier

This stunning view features a massive outlet glacier flowing from the Vatnajökull ice cap between jagged volcanic mountains. The area is famous for its diverse hiking trails that offer panoramic vistas of Iceland’s unique glacial and mountainous landscapes.

Stop 4 - Falljökull Glacier

Falljökull is a stunning outlet glacier of the Vatnajökull ice cap, known for its steep, dramatic icefall and rugged crevasses. This location offers a powerful visual of Iceland’s glacial forces as the ice flows down from the Öræfajökull volcano toward the coastal plains.

Stop 5 - Vatnajökull National Park

A panoramic view across the Skeiðarársandur outwash plain toward the southern edges of the Vatnajökull glacier. This region is defined by its massive scale, where volcanic sands meet ancient ice under an endless Icelandic sky.

Stop 6 - Stjórnarfoss Waterfall

Stjórnarfoss is a picturesque hidden gem located in a tranquil valley near Kirkjubæjarklaustur. This wide, dome-shaped waterfall cascades beautifully over dark basalt rocks into a shallow, pebble-lined pool, offering a peaceful escape from more crowded tourist spots.

Stop 7 - Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon

Fjaðrárgljúfur is a stunningly beautiful canyon in South Iceland, known for its sheer walls and winding river. Formed by progressive erosion from glacial water over millions of years, it features breathtaking moss-covered basalt cliffs and dramatic geological formations.

Day 2  |  South Coast & Glaciers

We explore the dramatic black sand beaches and iconic waterfalls of the South Coast.

Stop 1 - Dyrhólaey Nature Reserve

A small colony of Atlantic puffins rests on the steep, grassy ledges of Dyrhólaey’s volcanic cliffs. These iconic birds are a highlight for wildlife enthusiasts visiting Iceland’s southern coast between May and August.

Stop 2 - Sólheimajökull Glacier

Sólheimajökull is a stunning glacier tongue covered in dark volcanic ash from past eruptions, creating a stark and moody monochromatic landscape. It is a popular spot for glacier hiking, offering a close-up look at the powerful forces of ice and fire that shape the Icelandic terrain.

Stop 3 - Seljalandsfoss Waterfall

Seljalandsfoss is one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls, famous for the pathway that allows visitors to walk entirely behind the cascading water curtain. It falls 60 meters from cliffs that once formed the island’s coastline, often creating vibrant rainbows in its mist.
